Please ignore my dry, crappy cuticles.....it's just now getting a little chilly here in California and I need a better hand cream!    I have to admit I've never worn a green polish before, but this one is amazing! I can't stop staring at my nails!
It has a really pretty gold glitter running through it, it looks like a Christmas ornament actually! Yep, I think this one will be perfect for Christmas! :)

My Highlighters & How I use them

MAC MSF, ELF Golden Bronzer, Hard Candy Honeymoon

The other day I was thinking of  my favorite makeup products and how I really wanted to do a series of blog posts on them. Some people  love their concealers, others really love to do their eye makeup and put a lot of time and effort into it. Me...... I'm a blush, highlighter, and lippy fiend. To be honest I never really knew that highlighters  existed, all I knew was that I loved anything with a good shimmer or sparkle to it. I can't get enough of them and I'm not ashamed of it.  So when I found out about them, I was all over the idea of  it! The first one I ever bought would be a Hard Candy baked blush. Even though it says it's a blush, it's a highlighter. I could not even use this one as a blush and I am pretty damn pale faced. You can find them at Walmart for $6. This one is in the shade Honeymoon and I like to use it down the bridge of my nose and on my Cupid's Bow and I really do think it emphasizes the size of my lips and makes them look bigger and juicier. Sometimes I like to put this on the tops of my cheekbones, if I'm not already wearing a shimmery blush which usually I am. You can also add this to the center of your lips over the top of your lipstick and add a gloss on top to make your lips look extra big. I apply this with the tip of my finger and use it sparingly because this highlighter can look a little chalky if applied heavily.

The next one I picked up is ELF Golden Bronzer. It says it's a bronzer, but it's really just a highlighter. I use this on the tops of my cheekbones for a nice dewy glow to my skin, or all over my face if I'm feeling really fancy. I went out and bought it after watching one of Marnie MsGoldGirl's foundation routine videos, because this girl is gorgeous and she always has a nice healthy glow going on. You can find this at Target for only $3! Incredible buy,  it can't hurt to try it for only $3!

Now I went all out for my Birthday and asked my Dad for a MAC Mineralized Skinfinish. It was well worth it and by far my favorite out of all 3 of these. This product has many uses. It can actually be used as a blush as it has a lot more color to it. Sometimes I use it all over for a healthy sun-kissed glow. It has a beautiful peachy-gold sheen to it. Most of the time, I apply it right on my cheekbones. Then a blush over it of course, because I'm a blush freak. But it's very nice, all on it's own. This one is from the Heavenly Creatures collection and it cost my Dad $29. ;)

What is your favorite Highlighter?

Haul! La Femme, ELF, Zoya, BagInc, Physicians Formula

I've received a few packages in the mail lately, so I thought I might share with you what I got.
First, I was looking through my blushes and I realized that I didn't have any Fall colors. I was obsessed this past summer with coral, so that's the majority of what I have. So I was watching NVMakeupLover's favorites and fell in love with these beautiful La Femme blushes, and I could not believe how cheap they were! Gossmakeupartist also raves about these blushes.

Golden Sunset, Lilac lace, Mocha, and Golden Ruby
Lilac Lace and Golden Ruby are my favorites!

I ordered these online at Camerareadycosmetics.com for $2.99 a piece. They also have palettes, but I just wanted to try a few first to see if I liked them. I plan on ordering a palette sometime in the future, and filling it up with more of these blushes because I love them!

Then I found a code for 50% off on Eyeslipsface.com so I ordered 2 blushes that I've been wanting for over a year, you can't buy these colors in the store. Berry Merry and Blushing Rose. I got them for only $1.50 each. I put Mellow Mauve in there too because I just picked it up recently and have been loving it.

Top row: ELF Mellow mauve, Blushing rose, Berry merry
Bottom row: La Femme Golden sunset, Mocha, Lilac lace, Golden Ruby

I think I'll be doing another post with  the swatches of these blushes, they are all beautiful!
Just this week another package came in for me at Fedex, so I went and picked it up.
I won a giveaway a couple of months ago for a handbag from Baginc.com on Vadisrad's channel.

This is the bag I won, it's called the Melrose Glam Samurai Studded Calfskin Leather tote in Black.
This bag is very nicely made and the leather is very soft. I really want to order another one now for Christmas, it looks just like the Balenciaga Motorcycle Le Dix bag. And Lord knows, I cannot afford the real one! I want to say Thank you so much to Vanessa Vadisrad who I won this beautiful bag from, and also to Betty Lui from Baginc.com for sending it out to me! What's in my bag TAG coming soon! :)

Also Zoya sent me some polish samples from their new Ornate collection. They are all so gorgeous and perfect for this time of year. Blaze is my favorite, it's a gorgeous cranberry red color. I'll have to go to Sally's and pick up some nail wheels to show you a swatches of the colors more closely.

I was also at BigLots this past weekend and found a Physicians Formula powder foundation for $4.00 so I just had to pick it up, because I've never tried this brand and have always wanted to. My skin's been acting up and I wanted to slap something more light and healthy on it and this powder has licorice extracts and tomato derivatives to "help brighten skin and diminish the appearance of sun spots" as it says on the box, so I just had to snatch it up.

MAC Sweetie Lipstick

Sweetie (Lustre)

Described by MAC as an ultra-sweet Pink.
An everyday lipstick that is the perfect mid-toned pink.
Why do I always pick lustre finishes? This color just captured my attention .
Silly me, I thought that I was going to be able to pick up a couple things from the Marilyn Monroe collection. That didn't happen, so I thought I'm here anyways right? Might as well get something or I came for nothing.
I really wanted the Forever Marilyn beauty powder and the Love Goddess lipstick! Love Goddess looks so gorgeous! Does anyone know of a similar color?? I would die if I could find one! I saw a video on some drugstore dupes, but I really don't care for the Covergirl formulas. They smell kind of funny to me like the Loreal lipsticks.
Syrup and Plumful are also on my list. More Lustres! I'm also looking for a vampy purple does anybody know of one??

I'm so addicted to MAC lipsticks now! Someone save me!

Sephora Birthday Gift: Fresh Sugar lip balm

                                                               Fresh: Sugar Kisses
                                                Mini Lip Duo

My Birthday was on September 30th and I turned 24. Boo I feel old now. So, I went to Sephora and picked up my Birthday gift, Fresh Sugar Kisses mini lip Duo. I was so excited to try these for free, because these are originally $22.50. A little expensive for a lip balm I might say. These have an SPF 15.
They are  smooth on the lips and   smell nice, but I think they are not any better than my Nivea lip balm (which I paid $2.99 for 2). I do have to say though, that the packaging is very nice. They are a heavy titanium feel with twist on caps, so they won't come open in your purse. These just give a sheen to your lips, the Rose tinted one doesn't really leave your lips rosy at all.  All in all  I will not be purchasing the original size  because it's just not worth it to me, I would rather buy a MAC lipstick or a Tarte Blush with that money.

My Mom's card that she sent me is in the backround I thought it was very pretty.

I thought I would add what it says on the box, it's so cute!

Happy Birthday Sugar!
Our birthday gift to you: the sweetest smooch ever!
This lip-loving duo nourishes, protects,
and perfects your pout with a blend of skin-softening
sugar, moisturizing seed oils, and antioxidant-rich vitamins.
